Gary Glitter has a perfectly good excuse
You know, it’s one thing to keep kiddie porn around. It’s another thing to move to a south Asian country because you assume that keeping kiddie porn and letting kids sleep in your bed is cool with the locals. I think it’s fairly safe to say that nobody except for pedophiles would ever come to the assumption that a place like that exists on earth. Well, maybe the Neverland Ranch, but that’s a different story.
Everybody’s favorite kiddie porn hound, Gary Glitter, apparently has a perfectly reasonable excuse why an 11-year-old girl was sleeping in his bed.
During interrogations by police, Glitter said he allowed the girl to sleep in his bed after she claimed she was afraid of ghosts, attorney Le Thanh Kinh told The Associated Press.
OK, I think it may be time to look for a new attorney. Or possibly a new PR guy. But wait, there’s more.
On another occasion, Glitter told them they could not sleep with him, but “the girls explained to him that in Vietnamese families, the father, the mother and the children sleep in one bed,” Kinh told the AP.
Glitter also told police he went swimming with several girls in his outdoor pool, but denied inappropriate behavior, his attorney said.
“He said he thinks they are like his grandchildren,” Kinh said.
See? It all makes sense. All you people who hear about a man convicted of possessing child pornography and automatically assume that because he was sleeping with children in his bed, he was also having sex with them just plain sicken me. You’re the real perverts.
